Day 1: Arusha National Park

At 8:00 AM, after breakfast, you will be picked up in Moshi by your safari guide and driver. You’ll then head to Arusha National Park, just 75 kilometers away, a beautiful escape from the city. Despite its small size, the park offers a diverse range of landscapes, including lush jungle paths, open green fields, crystalline lakes, and rushing rivers.

The park’s highlights include Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak and Africa’s fifth-highest mountain; the Momela Lakes, a series of shallow lakes attracting wildlife like waterbucks, dik-diks, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species; and the Ngurdoto Crater, formed about 15 million years ago. Enjoy an exciting morning game drive, a picnic lunch, and an afternoon game drive, visiting both Momela Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. You might spot African buffaloes, elephants, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys, and occasionally a rare leopard or hyena. The park is also known for its prolific birdlife, including species like the narina trogon and bar-tailed trogon. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to a hotel on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart early from the hotel at 6:30 AM with a packed breakfast to maximize your time in Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes about 4 hours (240 km) to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll descend into the crater for a morning game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. The crater’s year-round water supply and abundant forage support a wide variety of species, such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The dense population of predators includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before traveling back to Moshi or Arusha, concluding your African safari adventure.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up in Moshi by our professional safari guide and driver for a brief overview of the safari. Then, travel 3.5 hours (240 km) to Tarangire National Park. The park stretches along the Tarangire River and features rolling hills and expansive swamp areas, which attract wildlife during the dry season.

Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants and the striking landscape of acacia woodlands and giant baobab trees. Look out for hartebeests, gazelles, and exotic birds like the bateleur and martial eagle. Enjoy a provided lunch and continue your safari exploration. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a 1.5-hour drive (50 km) west through the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara is known for its dramatic location at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment and its vast shallow soda lake, which covers two-thirds of the park.

The park’s diverse habitats attract a variety of wildlife, including the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and flocks of flamingos. You’ll also see zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, and hippos. After enjoying lunch inside the park, you’ll have a chance to visit the Maji Moto hot springs. In the late afternoon, depart for Moshi or Arusha, where your safari adventure concludes. You’ll be taken to your hotel or the airport, ending our tour package services.

The Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its dense wildlife population, including approximately 30,000 animals and some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. The crater’s year-round water supply and abundant forage support a wide variety of species, such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The park is also known for its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before traveling back to Moshi or Arusha, where your safari adventure concludes.

Arriving around lunchtime, you’ll have a meal before exploring the park.

Lake Manyara is known for its stunning location at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment and its large, shallow soda lake that covers two-thirds of the park. The diverse habitats attract a wide range of wildlife, including large herds of elephants, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, and numerous flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park and embark on exciting morning and afternoon game drives in search of tree-climbing lions, as well as other animals such as zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, and hippos. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be arranged based on your preferred lodging option.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, travel to Ngorongoro Crater, covering 50 km to the park gate and then 270 km back to Moshi or Arusha. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive.
